Montrose TIRZ Public Engagement Meeting Tonight

Hello Richwood Place Civic Association,

My name is Walter Morris and I am the TIRZ Administrator for TIRZ 27. I wanted to inform you of a series of meetings that TIRZ 27 will be holding regarding our Montrose Boulevard project. We are holding a public meeting tonight at 6:30 PM and another meeting in January to present our plans for the proposed reconstruction and drainage facilities of Montrose Boulevard. Our goal for tonight’s meeting is to introduce the project to the public and give the residents ample time to send their feedback and comments about our design before our in-person meeting in January. I wanted to ask if you would mind sending a notice of our efforts to your members so we can hear their feedback.

The meeting tonight will be virtual if anyone would like to join, but we have posted the plans on our website and will be posting a recording of the meeting as well. I am posting a link below to all of the information about the meeting tonight and the project’s plans below. If you or anyone else has questions or comments please email them to info@montrosehtx.org. Although we are having a meeting tonight, the comment period will be open for one month and we would like anyone who has feedback to provide it to us. We are looking to include as many residents as possible who may be affected by this project so if you have any additional organizations that you would like to recommend we contact we would greatly appreciate it.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you.
