Dear Friend,

Over the past year, I have been pleased to meet with a multitude of neighborhood civic groups, local businesses, and faith organizations that represent the Montrose community to discuss the potential for a Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) for Montrose. Together, we have crafted a proposal that will facilitate road repairs and other infrastructure improvements for this neighborhood without raising taxes.

To ensure the affected community has an opportunity to learn more about this proposal and how it will impact their neighborhoods, I will host a public meeting next week:

This proposal is expected to appear on the Council agenda before the end of the year and your input is critical to inform my vote.
