Hello all –

Here are a few of the ways you can get involved:
President
Vice-President
Secretary
Treasurer
Councilor (2)
Deed Restriction Chair and Committee
Safety Restriction Chair and Committee
Park Chair and Committee
CIP Chair and Committee
Neartown Chair and Committee
Mobility Chair and Committee
Block Captain
If you are currently in one of these positions and want to it again next year, please let me know. If you would like to run or be appointed to one of these, also please let me know.
I’ll put the meeting reminder signs up this weekend, and I hope to see all of you on Tuesday!
Thanks –
Laura
Just a reminder that we are meeting tomorrow (Sunday) at 6 PM at the entrance to the park in the 1700 block of Lexington to award the December Yard of the Month! So if you haven’t pulled out your decorations from the attic, you have one more day to get ready! We’re going to walk all the blocks of Richwood Place and decide whose house is the best for December!
Hope to see you all there!
Laura
Instead of us picking YOM this month, let’s get together and pick it as a neighborhood! I’d like to award the December Yard of the Month this Sunday to the best Holiday decorated yard. Why don’t we meet at the entrance to Chew Park on the 1700 block of Lexington at 6 PM? We’ll walk all the blocks and decide as a group which is the best “yard” for December. We’ll walk down west down Lexington, turn right and walk up Norfolk to the east, with a final turn left to walk down Portsmouth. After that, we’ll vote on the best of the best.
Take this weekend to deck out your yard in your finest Holiday decorations!
I’ll see you on Sunday at 6 PM, and I warn you – caroling might break out, and cookies along the way will not be turned away.
I hope that everyone had a safe and happy Thanksgiving. Just a reminder that our next scheduled General Meeting will be Tuesday, December 7th, at 7 PM. The meeting will be held at Zoe’s Kitchen. Elections will be held the following month, on January 11th.
If you are interested in running for any position on the Richwood Place Board, I encourage you to attend the meeting this month. We will be going over what each position entails, and what we can do as a neighborhood to strengthen our visibility and cohesiveness.
I just wanted to extend a heartfelt thanks tonight to everyone who helped make this year’s National Night Out such a great success. Daniel & Jennifer – thank you so much for offering up your house; Joseph – your grilling was delicious; Andy – thank you for having all the right stuff; Larry – thank you for going on that “beer run”; and to all our neighbors and friends who attended – thank you all for coming and bringing great food, great conversation, and great memories – this truly was the best National Night Out ever I’ve ever had the pleasure to attend! Much thanks.
