The Montrose TIRZ/RDA will be holding an in-person-only public meeting regarding the proposed reconstruction of the road, certain utilities past their useful life, and drainage facilities of Montrose Boulevard at 6:30 PM, January 23rd, 2023. This meeting will be held at the St. Stephens Episcopal Church in the Pecore Hall (1805 W Alabama St, Houston, TX 77098). This is the 2nd meeting held by the TIRZ in efforts to engage and inform the community about the Montrose Boulevard Project. This meeting is intended to solicit feedback from the community from the presentation of the initial design on December 12, 2022. A presentation of the Montrose Boulevard plans and a recording of the first meeting can be found at https://montrosehtx.org/meeting/december-2022-public-meeting/. There will be stations for project background, traffic, multi-modal options (transit, pedestrian and bicycle), roadway, drainage, landscaping and tree preservations for community members to discuss their issues in depth with the design team.
